Pastoral leadership
Our PastorsJuan and Awilda García
Founders and pastors of Iglesia Maná Para Las Naciones in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Twelve years of ministry, two buildings lost, a congregation raised from nothing — and the same conviction throughout: leadership is born in service.

Pastor Juan García
A life marked by grace, faithfulness and purposeful service.
Raised from childhood on solid Christian foundations, Pastor Juan García’s path took a temporary detour away from the purpose he had been called to. In the middle of that season he was reached in an extraordinary way by grace he had not earned. That encounter marked a before and an after: twelve uninterrupted years of service to the Kingdom.
His first ministry steps were taken at the Primera Iglesia Cristiana Misionera in Philadelphia, where he built his love for Scripture and sound doctrine. Years later, alongside his wife, his leadership expanded at Alcance Victoria (Brooklyn, NY), where he took an active role in the Youth Ministry and served in the Special Needs Children’s Ministry.
God then led them to Pennsylvania, to Iglesia Vida Real. There he served in the Worship Ministry and built and led the Pan de Vida ministry, a social outreach bringing food to the most vulnerable homes in the community — the same ministry that today feeds hundreds of families in Hazleton. It was in that house that his pastoral calling officially began, alongside his wife.
Today he is founder and senior pastor of Iglesia Maná Para Las Naciones, pastoring side by side with Pastor Awilda.
God’s grace does not erase your past; it takes it, redeems it, and turns it into the most powerful testimony to lift up those who need to find their way back.Pastor Juan García
Pastor
Pastor Awilda García
A life given to service and transformation.
Her ministry journey began twelve years ago, when she decided to give her life to the gospel. Since then her walk has been marked by one unshakable conviction: true leadership is born in service.
The foundations of her calling were laid at Alcance Victoria (Brooklyn, NY), where she led the Special Needs Children’s Ministry. There she learned the lessons that would shape her ministry for good: that God’s love knows no barriers, and that caring for the most vulnerable is a priority in the Father’s heart.
At Iglesia Vida Real in Pennsylvania she understood that to be a great leader you first have to learn to serve where no one is watching. With humility she went through it all: cleaning the building, early-morning intercession at the altar, and worship. Every stage shaped her character and prepared her for pastoral ministry.
Today she pastors alongside her husband with an uncommon mix of spiritual firmness and maternal warmth, and leads the Women’s Ministry «Restauradas en Cristo».

Serving God is not a position, it is a privilege you embrace with a soul willing to be healed so it can restore others.Pastor Awilda García
